Because God loves everyone. You are welcome. You are safe. You are loved. Please read our page ‘Our view about you’ for our full statement.
Where can I park?
There is a car park at the opposite end of the parade of shops; you can park there, and we are a short walk past the shops, to the IC Centre. Disabled parking is available at the closest point to the shops.
Is the building accessible?
We have a slope to the main entrance, and all the doors are wide enough for wheel-chairs or walking aids.
We have an accessible toilet and changing station.
We have a range of chairs, some with arms and some without, so you can pick which is best for you.
We use a sound system so the speakers are amplified, and we have a screen which we use to support what we are talking about.
I wear a hearing aid - will I be able to hear you?
Yes, we have a sound system.
What shall I wear?
Please be comfortable. We have no dress code.
Where shall I sit?
Please sit where you are most comfortable. If you are unsure, our ‘Welcomers’ can guide you.
I have mobility issues, can I get in and out of your chairs?
We have a range of chairs, some with arms and some without, so you can pick which is best for you.
What’s a typical Sunday morning service like?
We arrive from about 10am to have a cup of tea or coffee, and a chat. The service starts at 10:30am. We welcome everyone, share notices, and celebrate birthdays, then open with a prayer. We usually have two songs, with the words on the screen, then a brief talk, two more songs, another chat, then communion, prayers, two more songs, and the sermon.
We aim for the talks to be accessible for the whole family, children, people with learning disabilities, or neurodiversities, and everyone else! We sometimes have a ‘story’ or a video, and on some Sundays we have lyric videos to sing along to instead of ‘live’ music.
You can sit or stand to sing, or not sing, whatever works for you.
Communion is open all believers. We serve Ribena and gluten free bread, so everyone can partake.
There is an area for children and their parents and carers to use, with toys and space to play. We also have colouring activities for older children and adults, if you need help with finding these, please ask and we will help
Can I bring my dog?
So long as they are well-behaved, and keep their paws on the floor, yes, we are dog (and people-) friendly.
I’d like a cup of tea but I am dairy intolerant - do you have milk alternatives?
Yes, we have oat and soya milk.
